EDUCATION
HIT participates in education with our partner organizations providing education for thousands of impoverished children and adults. Most study centers lack proper buildings for education, and most villages lack the funds to operate a study center. HIT provides funds for providing quality education at numerous schools and study centers, and invests in teacher training.
$30: Funds the cost of literacy training for one woman for 18 months.
$50: Supports elementary education of a child for one year.
$200: Supports education, lodging, and food for an impoverished child for one year.
$500: Supports college preparation for a high school aged child.
$1,000: Supports college education for an impoverished child for 1 year.
$40,000: Funds construction of a new advanced curriculum school that will educate 300 students
