MARGINALIZED PEOPLE
HIT partners with organizations that provide vocational training for abused women, operate orphanages, and train other marginalized people groups to assist in their becoming self-sufficient.
We also partner with Mere Saathi (www.meresaathi.org) which provides veterinary care for animals owned by impoverished women empowering them to earn more and take care of their families.
$50: Provides food for an entire impoverished family for one month during the COVID-19 pandemic.
$100: Provides deworming medicine for 30 dairy cows, resulting in increased milk production and income for poor women.
$200: Provides primary education for an orphan child.
$300: Provides sewing machines for training 20 impoverished women.
$1,000: Provides vocational education for a marginalized person for one year.
