VETERINARY CARE

The people we serve in rural north India depend on their animals for income.  HIT provides veterinary care and anti-parasitic medication for rural farmers.  This medication enables the animals to produce more milk, thus generating much more income.  In addition, the animals have much better reproductive output.

We partner with Mere Saathi (www.meresaathi.org) and VetNet Foundation in India to provide veterinary care for animals owned by impoverished women empowering them to earn more and take care of their families.

$100: Provides deworming medicine for an entire year for 20 dairy cows, resulting in increased milk production and income for poor women.

$500: Treats 100 animals supporting 100 families for an entire year.
